Our two rooms were interconnecting which was convenient. Being a pet friendly hotel, our dog was welcome. The breakfast buffet was very good, and included gluten free bread and biscuits. Although the underground car park was too low for our car with roof box, we were easily able to park on the street nearby. Service was friendly and helpful, and I can recommend this hotel for a stay in Coimbra.

It was a pleasure to see the renovation of this legendary hotel in Coimbra! Rooms very well renovated, very good breakfast! It was about time someone picked up this historic hotel and give it a new life! Congratulations!! Front desk staff very nice and welcoming

Exceptional breakfast!! Very nice design rooms, silent, relatively good location. Great bed. Nice reception area, nice staff in general. I could sleep very well and the shower was also very good.

Hotel very nice and clean. The hall is very big and well furnished. Spacious room. The bathroom is fully and elegantly renovated. The furniture of the room is a bit dated and should be renovated. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Good location: 15 minutes from the city center by walk. Parking in the street is not expensive and the location is absolutely safe. We did not try the restaurant and the swimming pool. Very helpful staff . Good value for money.

Loved the value for money! It has everything and the people are so friendly and welcoming! It has its own private spa, you have to book but when you do you will be alone in the sauna / jacuzzi :) It also has a small gym and outside pool (not working now as it's still winter season) The hotel website has a list of all the things you can request online at a click of a button like toothpaste or extra towels, super easy. It has its own parking, which in Coimbra is essential. Coffee machine in the room was great and the bed was fenomenal.

The lady at the reception Thursday and Friday was wonderful. She explained the mais the City high lights and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is situated 15.min walk from city center. The pool is great.

Well located hotel with a beautiful view of the river. Staff, very attentive, and throughout the hotel there were small details to please the customer. The room, was large and comfortable, with a practical and well equipped bathroom, with all the necessary products. Excessive breakfast, with all the variety of products, for all tastes.

Great value for the quality, amenities, and room size. We paid a bit over 100 Euro/night in mid-summer. Room and bathroom was very large and sofa bed for our son was large and comfy. Pool was fantastic! And breakfast was included and very good too.

The room was exceptional with a beautiful river view, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast had plenty of options to choose from, and the hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the city center and railway station.
